Mrs Rebecca Salyer
My name is Rebecca (Becky) Salyer. I live and have lived in the Marion area for 49 years. I graduated from Elgin High School in 1979 and the State Beauty Academy in 1980. I am married to a wonderful man James (Jim) whom I have been married to for 30 years. We have two wonderful children Joshua, who lives in Marion and Jessica (Katie) who presides in Findlay. We have three terrific grandchildren, Tyler 7, Ayden 3 and Carson 2.
In my spare time I enjoy fishing, boating, swimming and spending time with my family especially the grandboys. My dream is to someday own a cabin on a lake and learn to fly fish.
Teaching Experience:
I started teaching at the State Beauty Academy in 1989. After seven years I had the opportunity to work for Tri Rivers Career Center with whom I have been employed now for 16 years. I am the junior Cosmetology teacher. My responsibilityies are to expose level one students to all aspects of the Cosmetology Profession.
